CapitalFC Welcomes Judah Cooks as New Technical Director of Coaching

Capital Futbol Club is pleased and excited to announce the hiring of Judah Cooks as Technical Director of Coaching (TDOC).  Judah is well-known in DC soccer circles.  As a player, Judah was a 3-time Parade HS-All American; he represented the United States at the U-17 and U-23 levels; was named All-American at University of Maryland; and spent 6 years with DC United, including the 1999 MLS Championship team.  On the coaching side, Judah holds a USSF B License, and has coached locally at DeMatha, DC United Academy, and several other local programs designed to bring soccer to the children in DC.  Most recently, he has worked as Director of Coaching at Weston FC in Miami, FL for the girls high school age group.  In this capacity, he designed and led a college track program that helped more than 200 girls obtain their goal of playing college soccer.  "I am super excited to get started with CapitalFC.  Being born and raised on Capitol Hill make this even more special for me!"

CapitalFC was founded in 2010 and is the fastest growing club in the District of Columbia - having grown from 3 teams to 20 teams in the last 6 years.  The club draws players from DC and immediate suburbs in Virginia and Maryland.  As TDOC, Judah will look to bring his experience and relationships at the highest level to oversee CapitalFC’s continued growth, and will be working to develop relationships and partnerships with other clubs and leagues in the area.  He can be reached at tdoc@capitalfc.org.  For more information about CapitalFC or to inquire about joining, please visit www.capitalfc.org
